Our editing process

Our editing workflow is designed to be transparent and collaborative, ensuring your work receives the attention it needs. We've outlined each step of the process so you know exactly what to expect.

Get in touch

Get in touch with us via our contact form or email us directly with:

  • Document type (e.g., PhD thesis, journal article)

  • Service needed (proofreading, structural editing, etc.)

  • Title/topic

  • Word count (includes references, tables, appendices)

  • Target submission date

  • Document sample (e.g., one chapter) to help us assess your needs.

Receive a quote

We’ll respond to your request with:

  • A service recommendation (tailored to your text).

  • An estimated quote (based on word count and complexity).

  • A proposed timeline (typically 2 weeks from document receipt).

Send your document & confirm

We will ask you to send through your final draft for editing. Please ensure that:

  • All sections (text, references, appendices) are included

  • The file is in your preferred format (Word, LaTeX, etc.)

  • Any special style guidelines are noted

Discuss your needs

We will invite you to a 30-minute video meeting to:

  • Highlight key focus areas or concerns

  • Clarify formatting/style preferences

This step is optional but highly recommended as it helps us tailor feedback to your specific needs. This service is included in the fees.

Receive your edits

We will send you two versions of your document:

  • Tracked Changes: See every edit made.

  • Clean Copy: Submission-ready, with all changes accepted.

Submit your thesis

We’re always happy to clarify any edits post-delivery.
